Esurance is hiring a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead our Talent Acquisition team in the San Francisco, CA office.  As the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition you will develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies and processes which enables Esurance to attract and acquire top talent. Additionally, you will provide strategic leadership to the Talent Acquisition team, while implementing best practices to support the talent needs of the organization. In this role you will manage multiple lines of business while leading the recruitment marketing inclusive of the employment branding, diversity strategy, vendor management, social recruiting, sourcing strategy, talent analytics, and manage various talent acquisition technologies such as CRM and ATS.


This is NOT a remote position - The individual in this role must be housed in the San Francisco, CA Corporate office.  


  • Manage and develop a team of remote and onsite Talent Acquisition professionals with responsibilities to align goals, performance feedback and coaching, development, and daily direction
  • Uses business plans to develop and execute staffing strategies and processes, and ensures staffing needs meet governmental requirements
  • Partners with department management to review staffing forecast, applicant flow, and develops recruiting initiatives
  • Works with Human Resources and department management to document job requirements and assist in determining compensation.
  • Develops and manages staffing/employment programs
  • Manages vendor relationships
  • Manages applicant tracking system and data to establish recruitment metrics, develops various recruitment reports to identify and analyzes key performance indicators
  • Participates in the establishment of department goals and for implementing procedures and performance standards to achieve these goals; Manages, coordinates, monitors and evaluates the activities of department staff directly
  • Manages assigned department budget and spending at or below plan
  • Assess quality of hires through source of hire, performance rating, and manager feedback

Experience / Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or related field required
  • 7+ years recruiting leadership experience with demonstrated success in executing enterprise-wide recruiting strategies
  • 3+ years of experience managing Talent Acquisition professionals required
  • Experience managing remote employees preferred
  • Must be well versed in full-cycle recruiting to include sourcing through progressive methods
  • Strong working knowledge of executive recruiting
  • Project management experience using operational efficiency tools (Lean, Six Sigma, Org effectiveness methodologies and analytics)
