    The Ad Operations Associate will be responsible for providing the media team support on the set-up, execution and delivery of digital media campaigns. S/he will work with internal and external teams to ensure that campaign delivery objectives are met. The role will not only be involved with trafficking duties but will also be responsible for overseeing our tag management platform, brand safety reporting and relevant vendor contracts.


    The Associate must be able to multi-task, problem-solve, manage multiple timelines and work across functions on occasion. They need to perform tasks effectively and with minimal supervision, develop collaborative relationships, communicate clearly and act proactively


    Job Responsibilities:



    • Acts as a strategic partner within media team; providing consultation to team on the correct setup of campaigns, tagging of Esurance site, and Q/A of all creative trafficked within DCM (DoubleClick Campaign Manager)
    • Collaborates with team members by providing guidance on how to continually improve operational processes, supporting systems and communication channels where needed.
    • Acts as the technical expert as it pertains to creative setup, tracking and usability, as well as ensure assets meet Esurance internal specifications (from a design & security perspective)
    • Monitors campaign delivery to ensure campaigns are running as expected and targeting objectives are met; including checking daily reports and providing troubleshooting support for trafficking issues related to creative, publisher implementation, and escalating to third party vendors when necessary.
    • Implements creative rotations timely and accurately per scheduled flights, addressing any questions/issues that may arise
    • Owns all aspects of pixel generation, implementation and QA across our ad-tech spectrum.
    • Applies campaign controls to support experimental designs, data collection and measurement protocols
    • Provides weekly impression counts and forecasts to marketing mix model
    • Maintains all data and files in an organized fashion with efficiency and attention to detail
    • Participates in evaluation and testing of new tools and partners                                                        

    Brand Safety

    • Maintains relationship with Brand Safety and Verification vendor(s)
    • Analyzes brand safety performance and makes recommendations on optimizations to meet overall brand safety benchmarks
    • Monitors performance and establishes KPIs for partners and publishers alike to adhere to
    • Maintains and audits existing configuration of whitelisting and blacklisting methodology


    • Works with legal and planning teams to process Insertion Order contracts through procurement
    • Ensures that correct IAB and Esurance terms are included, where needed







    • Knowledge of Ad Verification tools included but not limited to, IAS, MOAT, DoubleVerify
    • Operational knowledge of DoubleClick products including DFP, DCM and DBM a plus
    • Understanding of Tag Management
    • Knowledge of DCO backend implementation is a plus
    • Experience troubleshooting technical ad issues
    • Strong analytical background and problem-solving skills
    • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills; ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
    • Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of larger team
    • Excellent verbal and written communication



    • Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • One year experience in digital media ad operations
    • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
