    The Digital Product Manager II will focus on one or more of Esurance’s experience products by defining, delivering, and managing the product lifecycle in alignment with the overall customer experience strategy. As a part of the Digital Product Management group, this role helps to drive the strategic product vision, leads product discovery, and manages product roadmaps to maximize the customer and enterprise product value. Success relies on the ability to rally the entire team behind a compelling vision for our product, and requires the ability to balance the desire to build great products with time to market pressures along with a strong understanding of prioritization and development costs.


    • Align product strategy and roadmap with company objectives, incorporating customer, market, and competitive analysis into strategic recommendations
    • Partner closely with different business teams representing user and company needs, taking on the role of “product expert” with in-depth understanding of the business
    • Collaborate with leadership and internal stakeholders to determine product priorities and strategic buy-in to advance product strategy
    • Own and create a product roadmap that delivers great customer experiences while balancing business objectives for growth and profitability.
    • Create and manage a product backlog that ensures increasing customer value over time through market differentiation and delivers a great customer experiences
    • Work closely with software development, release management, user experience, design, quality assurance, and compliance to ensure delivery of a high quality and consistency experience to the end user.
    • Develop expertly defined requirements, identify and manage dependencies, incorporate research and design, define acceptance criteria and quality measures, and continually follow and evolve processes
    • Generate all product, project, and platform artifacts for product development (business cases, cost-benefit analyses, product overviews) and product management (platform requirements, project briefs, detailed business requirements, flow documents, epics, stories, etc.)


    • Entrepreneurial with a strong inclination towards action; self-motivated, eager to learn, passionate about collaborating, and dead-set on optimizing
    • Demonstrate success in product development activities (including integrating with what it takes beyond software development: research, operations, and communications)
    • Strong business acumen, with particular ability to align business strategies to product development and communicate product concepts to stakeholders in support of decision making and buy-in
    • Proven expertise in cross-functional teams, successfully collaborating with UX/design, product, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to deliver on product vision
    • Driven by data, defining objectives, and tracking key results (OKRs)
    • Passionate customer advocate with a drive to identify insights and deliver quality experiences quickly
    • Familiarity with both waterfall and agile development methodologies; preferably experience with both
    • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously


    Experience / Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, marketing or related business degree preferred
    • 5+ years relevant product management or product development experience working in a fast-paced, digitally-oriented environment related to consumer services, preferably in a regulated industry
    • Experience operating in an environment driven by KPIs where you had the accountability to determine the best course of action to meet your numbers
    • Experience working with remote teams across multiple locations is a plus
