    Responsibilities

    As the Senior Brand Manager you will play a key role in building affinity and consideration for the Esurance brand. You will help define and drive consistent expression of the Esurance brand across all consumer touchpoints, channels and teams – both within the marketing team, and across the product, customer experience, sales, service, and claims organizations – to ensure consistency in messaging, personality, look and feel for the brand across the customer journey. You will also work closely with the Strategy and Insights team to develop a deep understanding of the consumer target, and draw out consumer insights that can inform content strategy and key messaging for overall communications platforms.

     

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Lead development and maintenance of Esurance brand standards.
    • Define and deliver brand training and a brand guidance program to ensure awareness and adoption of Esurance brand standards by internal teams and through external partners.
    • Build strong relationships to drive alignment within a complex cross-functional team – both within the marketing team, and across the Product, Customer Experience, Sales, Service, and Claims organizations - to ensure consistency in messaging and personality at all touchpoints.
    • Partner within the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) team to develop and execute strategic communication roadmap to prioritize and manage execution of brand message integration through the customer journey.
    • Establish brand integration metrics and provide regular reporting on progress toward goals, proactively communicating results to marketing and senior leadership.
    • Partner cross-functionally within IMC to inform strategic message architecture based on deep working knowledge of customer needs through the decision journey.
    • Collaborate with Strategy & Innovation team to understand and leverage insights about core target consumers.
    • Understand and use analytics to inform optimization of website content, pulling learning into the briefing process and being the one to communicate this important information to design partners.
    • Write creative briefs for certain assets, building from cross-functional input, and brief the creative team on asset creation, including any learning based on results or past feedback.
    • Maintain close working relationship with creative agency partner and foster collaborative relationship between agency and Brand Creative and Content team.
    • Proactively monitor key brand touchpoints and identify opportunities for brand alignment improvement.
    • Liaison between IMC, web production and yield optimization teams to develop and implement message testing plans to optimize performance while maintaining brand alignment.
    • Research competitive landscape as it relates to brand communications and make recommendations as necessary.

    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with vendors, agency partners and internal teams within a collaborative team-oriented environment
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Comfortable making public presentations and effectively interacting with all levels of the organization, including senior management and leadership
    • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office suite of applications

     

    Experience / Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field and/or equivalent education.
    • MBA preferred.
    • 8 or more years of experience in Marketing, Brand Management, or agency experience
