    The Data Quality Analyst will be responsible to maintain the quality of data at all levels and all the time. As part of the requirement, he/she will design and develop validation models to meet data quality specifications. Works with business analysts to understand and document data quality requirements and develop medium to complex SQL queries for data integrity analysis. The Data Quality Analyst will work with the BI team, DBA's, Development and Support engineers to understand data sources and implement new requirements and develop Data Quality metrics. Moreover, the Data Quality Analyst will work with developers to resolve issues at the source rather than later in production environments.


    Job Responsibilities:


    • Identifies, compares, and resolves data quality problems.
    • Analyzes, queries and manipulates data according to defined business rules and procedures.
    • Evaluates large dataset for quality and accuracy.
    • Determines business impact level for data quality issues.
    • Researches and determines scope and complexity of issue so as to identify steps to fix issue.
    • Works with Application Engineers and Quality Engineers to eliminate possible data issues in production.
    • Determines root cause for data quality errors and make recommendations for long-term solutions.
    • Develops process improvements to enhance overall data quality.
    • Develops and executes data cleanup measures (Data Quality Metrics and SLA)
    • Ensures new system design meets data quality standards.
    • Ensures adherence to data quality standards.
    • Resolves all internal data exceptions in timely and accurate manner.
    • Other duties may be assigned.





    • Strong Microsoft SQL Server skills.
    • Strong working knowledge on .NET/C#/Java script/Python programing
    • Ability to multi-task and work well under deadlines in a changing environment.
    • Ability to independently manage and prioritize task assignments.
    • Strong quantitative, analytical, process development, facilitation and organizational skills required.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with diplomacy and tact.
    • Ability to be flexible and work extended hours as required.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Must have an understanding of or ability to quickly grasp technology concepts.


    Experience / Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent education required.
    • Minimum 4 years of experience in data quality analysis and developing SQL queries out of which there should be at least 2 years of experience in application development using .NET framework/Java/Python.
