    Responsibilities

    Day-to-Day:

    • You'll elevate and evolve the Esurance brand through the development of compelling content and inventive solutions
    • You'll contribute ideas and bring creative energy to meetings and brainstorms while looking for ways to problem solve
    • You'll serve as the editorial project lead for specific projects and will write original marketing copy for all types of media, consistently applying and developing the Esurance voice
    • You'll write, research, fact check, and perform thorough proofing and basic editing on copy for a wide range of mediums ensuring the consistency of our voice and alignment with broader messaging

    What you’ll do:

    • You'll create a variety of marketing communications with minimal guidance including web, digital, direct, video, email and social for multiple internal teams by collaborating with the design team and requestors
    • You'll help concept and create concise and compelling campaigns for a wide range of mediums, ensuring quality, consistency, and tone across all mediums
    • You'll contribute high-quality content to the Esurance blog, and edit, fact check, and proof a range of content, ensuring accuracy and serving as a guardian of the Esurance voice and tone
    • You'll draft and edit copy as needed for site pages, content marketing, partner marketing, and email marketing, ensuring consistency and accuracy across platforms while being a liaison cross functionally to ensure accuracy and best practices

    What we’re looking for:

    • Bachelor’s degree in English, Creative Writing, a related field and/or equivalent experience
    • 3-5 years of copywriting/editing experience
    • Working knowledge of WordPress and Google Analytics preferred
    • Working knowledge of copywriting principles and best practices
    • Ability to provide high-quality content for a range of mediums
    • Knowledge of SEO principles and social media activation
    • Ability to perform thorough proofreading
    • Editing experience preferred
